Job Description:

Evoloh is seeking a dynamic Lab Technician (50% of work hours) and Facilities Coordinator (50% of work hours) to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in advancing our mission to make affordable clean hydrogen a reality.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchasing, shipping, receiving, and inventory.
  • Ensure the facilities are in good working condition.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on building facilities and test equipment.
  • Manage and maintain our electrochemical test stations for optimal performance.
  • Assist with chemical, electrical, and mechanical tasks, such as testing water quality, preparing chemical solutions, setting up electrical connections, and assembling/disassembling hardware.
  • Assemble, test, and characterize electrochemical hardware.
  • Work in tandem with the team to identify and resolve inefficiencies and bottlenecks in our processes.
  • Collaborate closely with our scientists and engineers on a diverse range of research projects.

Your qualifications:

  • Self-driven work ethic with a proactive attitude, including a willingness to support team members, troubleshoot issues, and continuously enhance procedures.
  • Strong communication skills (e.g., bringing up problems immediately as they occur).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, constantly evolving research environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail when executing established procedures.
  • Prior laboratory experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
