Job Description:
Evoloh is seeking a dynamic Lab Technician (50% of work hours) and Facilities Coordinator (50% of work hours) to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in advancing our mission to make affordable clean hydrogen a reality.
Responsibilities:
- Manage purchasing, shipping, receiving, and inventory.
- Ensure the facilities are in good working condition.
- Conduct routine maintenance on building facilities and test equipment.
- Manage and maintain our electrochemical test stations for optimal performance.
- Assist with chemical, electrical, and mechanical tasks, such as testing water quality, preparing chemical solutions, setting up electrical connections, and assembling/disassembling hardware.
- Assemble, test, and characterize electrochemical hardware.
- Work in tandem with the team to identify and resolve inefficiencies and bottlenecks in our processes.
- Collaborate closely with our scientists and engineers on a diverse range of research projects.
Your qualifications:
- Self-driven work ethic with a proactive attitude, including a willingness to support team members, troubleshoot issues, and continuously enhance procedures.
- Strong communication skills (e.g., bringing up problems immediately as they occur).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, constantly evolving research environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail when executing established procedures.
- Prior laboratory experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
