Position Overview
The Case Manager accomplishes objectives by coordinating all information with the clinic and billing departments in accordance with law firm/clinic representatives policies and procedures of standards of the practice. This position also is responsible to providing administrative/support case coordination for healthcare marketing referrals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the workflow of the team, ensure open lines of communication and satisfaction of deadlines and deliverables
- Responsible for coordinating all intake activities for new referrals including communication between internal and external clients
- Managing and administering scheduling all new referrals including intake, referral and follow up services to clients/patients internal and external
- Review and approve new client files including letters of representation and prepare content for specific case files, medical and billing records
- Determine liability, personal injury protection coverage
- Manage and monitor client/patient treatment
- Establish, develop and maintain relationship/rapport between attorneys, clients and healthcare providers
- Manage internal data sourcing, including Airtable, Excel Spread Sheets and logs
- Develops, implements, and maintains necessary policies, standards, and compliance procedures for the department
- Ensures the department handles incoming inquires (calls, email, fax) from case managers and attorneys; provide intake, referral and follow up to clients internal and external and serve as the point of contact for escalation calls
- Provides accurate and detailed reporting to Leadership/ Management regarding billing, cases, reporting and department information
- Provides weekly status report to CEO on personal and departmental projects, deadlines and deliverables
- Run various ad-hoc reports
- Other duties/requests as defined
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2 years in billing
- 2 years in Personal Injury or Law Firm
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Self-motivated
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership attributes to manage the day-to-day activities and implement long range goals
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
