Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our childcare team as a Classroom Aide. The Classroom Aide will assist the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
2. Supervise and interact with children during indoor and outdoor playtime, ensuring their safety at all times.
3. Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring all toys and equipment are sanitized, in good condition, and the classroom is cleaned after each shift.
4. Support children’s emotional and social development by providing positive reinforcement and guidance.
5. Help with classroom management and behavior redirection as needed.
6. Collaborate with teachers to assess children’s progress
7. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops as required.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
EXPERIENCE:
- Childcare experience preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60.00 per day
Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
Grade levels:
- High school
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed

Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Required)
- First Aid Certification (Required)
