Evolve Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation is a top-rated sports medicine/orthopedic clinic with locations on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and Syosset, NY. We’re looking for a professional, upbeat, and qualified candidate to fulfill the role of Part-Time Physical Therapy Aide at our Syosset, LI location. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in going to school for physical therapy or a related health field. We are seeking an individual who is motivated, personable, and naturally friendly to fulfill the part-time physical therapy aide position. The candidate must be willing to work Fridays with some flexibility during the week.
Duties Include:
A physical therapy aide will be responsible for helping create a positive environment for the patients. They will be supporting the physical therapist by preparing treatment areas, assisting in setting up patients with exercise/equipment. All of this will be done under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Qualifications:
- An individual who is familiar with/interested in exercise, physical therapy, and/or sports is preferred
- Personal training experience is not necessary but beneficial.
