EVONAhave partnered with a leading Space technology business, who are looking to add to their growing team in San Diego.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Perform comprehensive inspections at various stages, including Receiving, In-Process, Source, and Final Inspections of PCBs, PCBAs, mechanical slices/PCBAs, Box assemblies, and cables, providing backup support for inspectors.
* Lead closed-loop root cause and corrective action activities (RCCA) using methodologies such as 5Y Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and 8D.
* Determine dispositions for non-conforming materials.
* Review purchase orders, planning documentation, and supplier data to ensure effective communication and fulfillment of quality requirements.
* Interface with business partners to address quality-related challenges.
* Support the Quality Manager in supply chain management, including source inspections & supplier surveys
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 3-5 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or process control.
* Quality engineering experience.
* US citizenship
* experience in the aerospace or defense industries
