Core Responsibilities and Tasks

Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
Technical expert of all products and panels
Direct and lead team of panel builders
Coordinates team activities, sets daily expectations for safety, quality, scheduling and costing
Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence and other panel functions as described
Assembles or tests electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination.
Will assemble all variations of in-house standard products, as well as complex custom products
Follows clear assembly/test instructions, e.g., color code, NEC and UL codes/standards
Uses simple hand or power tools along with complex jigs and fixtures
Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP)
Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
Will be reading complex schematics, ladder diagrams and point to point drawings.
Maintains equipment and area in a clean safe condition.
Responsible for testing of panels before shipping, IE: point to point, running program sequence
Leads by example; mentors, coaches, and teaches
Contributes to division results and performance
Takes care of internal and external customer needs and expectations

Position Requirements

1. FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

4 years of relevant experience required
Ability to read and interpret complex schematics, ladder diagrams and point to point drawings
Proficient in the use of hand tools
Must be able to communicate clearly written and oral
Be able to be proficient in MS Office tools
