Hours : Day shift Monday to Friday
Salary : From £24,000, plus excellent Company Benefits
Main Responsibilities will include : -
Regular stock checks
Balance calibrations, perform monthly checks / calibrations of balances.
Ensure calibration of weights is kept up to date.
Ensure an appropriate quantity of weights are available and suitable for use.
Remove unnecessary raw materials, waste drums and pallets, as required.
Emptying recycling bins, as & when required.
Perform maintenance / housekeeping of vacuum pumps
Maintain stock of consumables within the plants, labs, dispensary and associated store areas.
Manage RPE and ensure active stock complies with current EHS expectations.
Purified water plant checks and sampling (weekly).
Perform additional water plant checks as required (i.e. biannual tap water sampling and post-pasteurisation sampling)
Manage personal radios for Pilot plant staff, keeping track of stock as well as ordering replacements and organising repairs, as required
Checking level / flow / pH of scrubbers and adjusting as appropriate.
Topping up dosing tanks.
Dosing effluent tanks.
Changing carbon drums.
Transport of materials as required.
Skills
Promote a culture of Health and Safety first, ensuring all unsafe conditions are identified and reported.
Ensure operational procedures are followed.
Identify and suggest areas where improvements can be made. Participate fully and diligently in project schemes to support continuous improvement, including :
Streamlining daily routine to maximise efficiency.
Planning workload to minimise time lost due to gowning / degowning.
Complete and review logbooks and relevant documentation promptly and accurately.
Ensure training is recorded accurately in the training record.
Only perform tasks that are appropriately signed-off in the training record.
