Position Overview for Mechanical P.E.
The ideal candidate is an experienced mechanical engineer who will:
· Develop HVAC designs from concept through completion of construction.
· Prepare engineering design calculations and mechanical system layouts.
· Prepare detailed engineering reports, narratives, and specifications.
· Coordinate HVAC design requirements with architecture, structure and other disciplines.
· Support business development initiatives by assisting the RFP process and interview process.
· Actively engage in industry-specific organizations (ASHRAE or similar).
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
· 6 years of design experience in an A/E or MEP firm
· Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer designing HVAC building systems on complex projects.
· Professional Engineering license (PE) required
· NCEES Record Holder
Preferred Qualifications:
· Multi-family and high-rise experience a plus
· Experience with direct client contact and fostering those relationships.
· Revit experience
· LEED experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to stand, walk, sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel objects and to manipulate keys on a keyboard. Work Environment:
Work is generally performed within an office environment where the noise level is usually quiet to moderate. When work is performed outdoors on construction sites, conditions may vary by client and facility. Adherence to all health and safety requirements within the office, on construction sites is essential.
Salary:
$75,000 – 110,000 based on experience
