The Project Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing contract and proposal development processes with the goal of securing new business. The Project Coordinator will execute contracting and proposal development projects in collaboration with the Chief Growth Officer and business development, client experience, and operations leaders to develop distinctive value propositions that enhance the competitive position of our clients. Roles and Responsibilities
- Craft proposal plan, develop proposal and win strategy, facilitate proposal team assignments, and lead proposal management.
- Facilitate the go/no-go decision, proposal kickoff meeting, and the development of content, including graphics and visuals, to articulate the company’s unique value proposition.
- Perform post-submittal activities toward securing new business.
- Develop a negotiated contract outline and proposed services.
- Gather and report on competitive intelligence to articulate the company’s relative performance.
- Lead the development and tracking of metrics to support positive proposal outcomes.
- Oversee proposal development from ideation to contracting.
- Lead the company’s engagement with professional associations to expand the company’s professional network.
- Provide on-going upkeep and management of a proposal and contract content repository, ensuring all such content is current, available, and relevant.
Required Qualifications and Education
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business administration or related field
3-5 years of experience in project management, marketing, business development, or sales, or related position, with a professional services firm
Positive, proactive approach to support current and potential client satisfaction
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to analyze information to build a strategic approach
Strong communication skills
General knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with a proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
