Position Overview:

The prime responsibility of the Wax Associate is to provide the highest quality wax services while representing the European Wax Center in a professional and consistent manner. As a licensed skin care specialist, a Wax Associate is responsible for educating guests on proper skin care in conjunction with the Company’s exclusive products and processes. We will help you increase you speed, allow you to see more guests, and earn hourly wage, commissions, tips, and incentives.

Skills/Requirements:
- Must have active licensure to perform full body waxing in the state in which you have applied to work in
- A willingness to perform full body waxing for all genders and all anatomies
- A passion for wanting to learn new techniques while providing outstanding services to guests
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with guests to discuss their needs and preferences, as well as learn about any sensitive skin or allergy issues
- Ability to work flexible days and hours, including weekends
- A positive, friendly, and personable demeanor
- Ability to receive and provide feedback
- An ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times as defined in the EWC Growth Associate Handbook
- A strong desire to work with others and engage new associates with energy and enthusiasm for EWCG
Essential Functions, Behaviors, and Expectations
- Develop a thorough understanding of European Wax Center services and products
- Arrive to work timely following the appropriate dress code, including wearing of the required name tag
- Create a memorable guest experience by utilizing EWC terminology and tailoring the scripts and standard responses while working in the location
- Review all reservations ahead of time and game plan service and retail opportunities
- Greet each guest by name, in a friendly and personable manner
- Complete the 4-step process consistently with every guest
- Complete a brow consultation for every eyebrow service performed, and offer complimentary brow fill in
- Recommend add on service(s) for each guest
- Discuss the frequency of waxing with each guest, and the benefits of waxing consistently
- Discuss skincare regimen and educate each guest on products that can improve their waxing results
- Provide highest quality wax services and exceptional guest services
- Maintain a clean wax suite at all times, adhering to all EWC Growth cleaning and sanitation protocols
- Participate in community events and street team marketing as requested
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The associate must frequently lift and/or move items over 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
