Description

You will be providing best-of-class support to staff and projects across the organization. You will be responsible for understanding and creating BIM project execution plans, as well as coordinating BIM planning, goals, processes and coordination with all team members. You must also be able to escalate problems as required, document relevant information, and participate and/or lead project coordination. You may also be asked to innovate, provide input and ideas on how tasks could be done better, create and update content libraries, learn new features and software packages, train staff on software tools, and travel to regional offices.
The BIM/VDC Specialist provides digital project delivery and coordination leadership to projects and project teams and works on initiatives and other efforts of the Digital Technology team.
Essential Functions
- Participate in this collaborative and innovative organization expanding expertise and capabilities
- Provide best-of-class support to staff and projects across the organization and maintain “High” level of customer satisfaction rating.
- Understand and create BIM project execution plans
- Coordinate BIM planning, goals, process, and coordination with all team members
- Escalate problems as required.
- Document relevant information (issues, troubleshooting, solutions) of support requests.
- Participate and/or lead project coordination using Navisworks and BIM 360 Coordinate
- Understand and follow the requirements of BIM Execution Plans, and related project documents
- Innovate. Provide input and ideas on how tasks could be done better
- Create, update, and assist in management of 3D & 2D Content Libraries
- Learn new features and new software packages as required.
- Some Training of staff on software tools may be required
- Some travel to regional offices may be required

Work Environment:
This position is an in-person role in Philadelphia and candidate must be local. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and large displays.
Physical Demand:
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some lifting of computer equipment may be required. Given the type of work, this position also requires the ability to handle repetitive work patterns on a computer for long periods of time.
Requirements
Required Education and Experience:
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design Technology or equivalent, or work experience in a multi-discipline environment is preferred, or Architecture, Construction, Structure, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing or VDC Coordination
- 5 years of experience
- Detailed knowledge of BIM applications including Revit, Navisworks and related.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Architecture/Design/Engineering/Construction/Development/Data focused Degree
- C# or Python skills are valued but not required
