Our multi-disciplinary practice is built on the core values of professional excellence, design quality and collaboration. We are seeking an Interior Design Intern to join our Philadelphia office.
The Interior Design Intern position entails supporting the interior design effort on projects. The designer is responsible for assisting and supporting the design team with the development of the project’s interior design concepts. This includes research regarding the selection and detailing of finish materials and furnishings and assisting in the production of interior design presentation and documentation drawings.
Essential Functions:
- Work with the design team in creating interior environments which serve the client’s goals and responds to their spatial needs, image and aesthetic requirements.
- Assist with the selection of appropriate finish materials and furnishings.
- Assist with the development of presentation materials including 3D renderings.
- Participate in the projects’ in-house design review presentations.
- Construction Documents
- Support the production team in preparing the construction documents.
- Assist in the development of project and furniture specifications and other technical requirements of projects.
- Prepare finish and furniture boards and record binders.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree program in Interior Design
- General knowledge of Revit and Adobe Suite
- Some experience with 3D Modeling software such as Rhino and SkecthUp
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
