Summary:
We are hiring for an experienced Fiduciary Accountant for a successful law firm we partner up with in the greater Stamford/Greenwich area. We are seeking someone with at least 4-5 years of related experience. They must have working knowledge of Trusts and Estates practice.

Position Overview:
In this role, you will identify, analyze, maintain facts and documents with correct legal practice and procedure; maintain financial statements, spreadsheets, and develop working relationships with clients and personnel both inside/outside the firm.
Other Core Duties:
·Develop/Implement tracking and accounting systems for client investments to facilitate preparation of US trust tax returns
·Prepare Federal/State death tax returns
·Prepare Federal/State income tax returns for decedent’s estates
·Prepare gift tax returns
·Prepare individual, fiduciary, partnership, non-profit organization tax returns
·Prepare estate/trust probate accountings
·Prepare related filings, planning, analysis for all accounting and returns
·Analyze/Maintain financial statements, spreadsheets with clients
·Assist in analysis of legal proceedings
·Communicate with clients, trustees, banks, etc.
Requirements:
·At least 4-5 years of related experience
·Experience with accounting and trust procedures
·Experience with individual, partnership, and corporate balance sheets
·Working knowledge of legal functions utilized in processing of trusts and estates
·Proficient in MS Excel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
