Job Posting for Endoscopy Technician at Excelgens

Shift : 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Schedule: Monday- Friday

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Certification as an Endoscopy Technician preferred but not always required
  • Completion of a formal training program in endoscopy technology or equivalent experience

Skills:

  • Proficiency in operating endoscopy equipment and related instruments
  • Ability to prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for procedures
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols and procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members

Experience:

  • Previous experience as an Endoscopy Technician or in a related healthcare field is preferred
  • 3-5 Years of Experience Needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare equipment and supplies for endoscopy procedures
  • Assist in the positioning and preparation of patients for procedures
  • Operate and maintain endoscopy equipment and instruments
  • Monitor patients during procedures and report any adverse reactions or complications to healthcare team members
  • Clean and disinfect equipment and instruments after procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of procedures
  • Participate in the training and orientation of new staff members as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Healthcare setting:

  • Inpatient
  • Outpatient

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Travel requirement:

  • No travel

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Scarsdale, NY 10583: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Endoscopy or GI Tech: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • BLS, ACLS , PALS Certification (Preferred)
