In Home Caregiver

Looking for a PT In Home Caregiver in Belleville. Hours are 10am to 1pm; no evenings or nights! The client is a easygoing younger individual with a physical disability only. Experience working with someone in a wheelchair is a plus. This is the ideal opportunity to supplement your income working only daytime hours, while helping an easygoing individual retain independence living in their home.

RESPONSIBILITEIS

• Provide routine individualized care for the client following a plan of care
• Provide personal care, such as bathing and dressing, light housekeeping, assist with meal prep and feeding and running errands
• Monitor and report changes in client's health status

QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess a caregiving mentality
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to utilize an electronic timekeeping system
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Experience in caregiving (informal OR formal)
• Experience transferring a patient preferred, but not required
• Ability to pass a background check
