Excellerate Learning Studio - Personalized Coaching for 21st Century Learning

Excellerate Learning Studio is looking for part-time tutors (Learning Success Coaches) for our K-8 small group after-school academic enrichment program for Math and English. Please note:

• You must be available from 3:45-8:00pm (the entire time) on at least some weekdays.
• You must have knowledge and experience to enable you to teach math through algebra 1, in addition to language arts through 8th grade.

A great part-time position for a graduate student, a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree, a current or former teacher, or a stay-at-home parent who wants to work in an exciting field of Ed-Tech.

Subjects you will be working on with our students

• Learning Skills (including executive functioning skills) at age-appropriate level (training provided)
• K-8 Language Arts and Math (up to Algebra 1)

Qualifications

Must

• Have a bachelor’s degree
• Have reliable transportation to our locations (Glenview or Lincolnshire)
• Pass background check and drug test (if applicable)
• Be comfortable working one-on-one and in a small group
• Have previous experience in working with elementary and/or middle school students
• Be comfortable with technology (Google suite and Zoom)
• Be able to teach both language arts through 8th grade level and math through algebra 1
