In this role, you will play a crucial role in driving growth by spearheading the build-out of Professional Development (PD) Programs across our organization.
Director of Professional Development, Programs and Sales - Early and Elementary Education
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of ECE Professional Development programs, including curriculum sourcing, delivery methods, and evaluation processes across the Early and Elementary Education sector.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify the overall Professional Development opportunity.
- Partner with internal and external resources to design an innovative and impactful PD offering for our Excelligence customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute Professional Development strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute marketing and communication strategies to promote funding opportunities and Professional Development Programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including School Districts, Educational Associations, and Non-Profit Organizations.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness our Professional Development Programs, making data-driven recommendations for improvement and additional investment.
- Stay informed about policy changes and regulations in the Education sector, ensuring compliance with Funding requirements, impacting Professional Development programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, partnership management, and/or sales within the Education sector.
- Experience in selling and/or developing and implementing Professional Development Programs.
- Strong understanding of Funding streams and grants available in the early and elementary education sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a keen eye for identifying business opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of current trends and challenges in the Early and Elementary Education sector.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other similar tools.
- Teaching/Administrator experience is a plus.
