WHO WE’RE SEEKING:
We’re seeking a unique individual who will embody the heart and soul of the Fort Worth Stockyards while caring deeply about our brand and community – someone who acts as an extension of our mission, values, and culture. This person is driven to create meaningful experiences for our employees, guests, and community while simultaneously leading the local IT team and IT experience across the hotel. The position is involved with, but not limited to, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of PCs, servers, network equipment, A/V equipment, telephones, printers, and more.
The IT Manger will work closely with other IT personnel within the Majestic umbrella (including Majestic Realty Co. and Silverton Casino) and will provide support for all computing equipment, processes, documentation, and more. The overarching goal is to help develop and maintain smooth operations, further expansion potential, reliability, and accessibility of system resources in general.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage information technology and computer systems (hotel specific systems such as Property Management System and Point of Sale systems)
- In partnership with the SVP of IT, design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company’s business continuity strategy
- Create, maintain, and update documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records
- Ensure security of data, file systems, network access and backup systems
- Maintain PC vulnerability scanning and assessment, including patch management and anti-virus updates to preserve assets, information security, and control structures
- Support SVP of IT and General Manager on annual budget process and ensure cost effectiveness
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
- Manage and maintain inventories related to systems such as Maintenance/Service/Support, Licensing, Asset Management, Software Systems, and Life Cycle Management
- Website domain and support (if needed)
- Deploy and maintain PC Software (email, Office, etc.) when needed
- Stay highly informed of latest hotel technology and security risks on regular basis
- Using our core values and guiding principles, manage the IT team by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating expectations and appraising their performance on a consistent basis
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy and effectiveness

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years of IT experience with a proven track record as an IT manager in a high-end, luxury hotel/resort

- BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field preferred
- Experience in data management and data governance
- Experience with VMs, Oracle’s Opera PMS, Oracle’s Simphony POS
