Job Qualifications
Education : High school or equivalent. Experience : Six months progressively responsible general work, plus six months warehousing work or closely related work.
Must possess the ability, knowledge and skill to operate / use the appropriate systems / software / hardware. May be required to possess a valid drivers license.
If a sufficient number of qualified candidates do not apply, the minimum qualifications may be lowered without reposting.

Major Duties
Ensures the proper receipt, verification and documentation of merchandise / supplies. As required, posts sell prices on documents.
Records discrepancies or damaged shipments, initiates appropriate corrective action and completes necessary documentation.
Signs receiving reports and other accountable documents and processes receipt through appropriate systems using a VDT / PC or other equipment.
Processes damaged / defective merchandise returned for repair or replacement. Maintains records and takes follow-up action, as necessary.
Completes various merchandising documents and reports, as required, either manually or by appropriate systems using VDT / PC or other equipment.
As necessary, assembles and segregates merchandise (bicycles, grills, etc.) for delivery and prepares appropriate documentation.
Assists in taking stock counts and official inventories.
As required, may operate motor vehicles not to exceed 10,000 pounds gross vehicle weight. May operate forklift not to exceed 10,000 pounds lifting capacity.
Maintains compliance with fire, safety, sanitation and security requirements within stockroom area. Actively communicates / promotes the benefits of the Military Star credit card to customers in order to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
