Preferred 2 years experience, can be a mix of MA / LPN experience.
Our client provides specialized allergy and asthma treatments.
They are looking for you, an experienced LPN who can supporting physicians in the medical offices.
What You Get To Do
Assisting Physicians: This involves aiding doctors during patient consultations, which can include taking vital signs, preparing equipment, and documenting patient information.
Diagnostic Procedures: Conducting tests like skin tests, pulmonary function tests, and collecting blood samples for laboratory analysis to aid in diagnosing allergies and respiratory conditions.
Immunotherapy Administration: Administering immunotherapy injections to patients as prescribed by the physician, and keeping meticulous records of treatments and patient responses.
Emergency Patient Care: Being prepared to respond to emergencies, including performing CPR if necessary, particularly for patients experiencing severe allergic reactions.
Telephone Assistance: Providing support to patients over the phone, such as giving instructions to sick patients and handling prescription refills.
Reaction Management: Assisting in the management of reactions that may occur as a result of immunotherapy, including recognizing symptoms and providing appropriate care.
Maintaining Aseptic Environment: Ensuring that the medical office meets cleanliness standards to minimize the risk of infection for patients and staff.
Patient Education: Educating patients about their medical conditions, treatment plans, proper use of equipment, medication delivery devices, environmental controls, and any other relevant aspects of their care.
Other Duties: Performing additional tasks as assigned by supervising physicians or healthcare administrators.

Ability to Travel: Being flexible and able to commute to different office locations as required. This may involve transporting oneself between clinics to provide support where needed.
Clinic Health, Safety, and Sanitation Standards: Understanding and adhering to protocols for maintaining a clean and safe clinic environment. This includes knowledge of proper disinfection procedures, waste management, and infection control practices to minimize the risk of healthcare-associated infections.
