PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position is an essential member of the Regulatory Affairs team which oversees relationship, case management, resolving escalated complaints, stakeholder and constituent concerns, and compliance. Its scope and primary purpose are to support PHI DC and Maryland jurisdiction compliance in the Regulatory and Government arena by coordinating regulatory compliance including maintaining and operating the Regulatory Compliance System, coordination with internal personnel on the development of compliance filings and making the appropriate regulatory filings.
An ideal candidate will an effective analyst with ability to provide administrative support to the Regulatory Affairs team. The candidate should possess an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strict deadlines and be a strong relationship-builder and communicator. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required as well as an ability to learn new software critical to the success of the Regulatory Affairs team. The candidate should also have the ability to create and implement small and large corporate meetings. They must be a self-starter with the ability to proactively identify opportunities to assist in driving continuous improvement in program development, project tracking and increased efficiencies. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are interested in being challenged. The Associate Business Analyst needs to be a team player and work in partnership with the Regulatory Affairs and Legal team to support regulatory filings for both DC and Maryland jurisdictions. There will also be collaboration across all business units to effectively meet the needs of the Regulatory Services team.
Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

This is an individual contributor position that works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. This position is expected to resolve general questions and problems and determines when to refer more complex issues to higher levels. May require working extended hours and/or shift work to support business operations.
