PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Provide technical knowledge and expertise to support delivery and maintenance of IT Cyber Security and Network solutions under the guidance of a Sr Cyber Security Analyst and Manager. Perform activities related to testing, implementing, and maintaining solutions for products and processes. Uses pre-defined procedures and guidelines to maintain and resolve issues related to cyber security and network solutions.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Perform, document and assist in planning work activities relating to small projects, sub-projects, or process improvements. For daily operations: enhance, maintain or support existing IT products and processes to the defined service level agreement For projects and sub-projects: analyze requirements, design, build, and test IT software solutions (60%)

Maintain engagement with business and IT partners. (10%)

Assist less experienced personnel. (10%)

Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or function and continue to manage their professional development (10%)

Drive innovation across the organization by identifying and providing analysis of trends and issues with the goal to drive new business opportunities and solve complex business problems. (5%)

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and typically 2 to 5 years related experience or 6 years equivalent combination of education and work experience in lieu of degree.

Able to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology (written and verbal).

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, based on business needs.

Working knowledge of Server and Workstation Operating Systems (Windows / Linux), along with command prompt knowledge.

Working knowledgeable in IP based switching, routing, and network environments (ex. Cisco).

Working knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.

Working knowledge of cyber security practices for an enterprise environment.

Working knowledge of firewall operations (ex. Cisco & Checkpoint).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience building and supporting IT Security applications.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or demonstratable professional experience managing IT projects.

Certification in area of expertise specializing in one or more of the following applications: Cyberark, Splunk, Tripwire, Aruba Clearpass, Siemens Crossbow, RSA, or Carbon Black.

Experience administering enterprise level Windows and/or Linux based environments help to understand the data our systems interface with.

Responsible for installing software, updates, and security patches on critical applications. (Cyberark, Splunk, Tripwire, Aruba Clearpass, Siemens Crossbow, and Carbon Black).

Network knowledge for troubleshooting, designing, and implementing firewall polices.

PowerShell scripting or Shell Scripting to automate routine data collection into our wide range of security tools we manage. Knowledge of leveraging application API's and other data interfaces.
- Knowledge of NERC CIP standards preferred

Experience coordinating with team members to leverage a wide array of skillsets and ensuring project deliverables are met on time.

Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $70,400-$105,600
