Scope of Position: Production of inkjet, vinyl and other graphics and prepping & post-production of graphics.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Producing, and/or assisting with production of inkjet and other graphics as directed by Graphic Production Supervisor and/or work order. This includes, but is not limited to: using inkjet printers, mounting & laminating presses for application of graphics to substrates; applying Velcro, trimming and finishing graphics for final shipment.
- Meeting all production operations & schedules implemented by Graphic Production Supervisor and/or Work Order.
- Use a professional and considerate manner when communicating with fellow workers.
- Maintaining proper graphic numbering, archiving and organization for each job; assist with maintaining accurate dimensions & production notes on final graphic layouts.
- Assists Graphic Production Supervisor with maintaining and stocking materials and supplies related to job duties.
- Fully understand use and operation of graphic production equipment & tools and computer & software as needed.
- Keep current with graphic production techniques by attending seminars and classes.
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and minimum two (2) years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
General Skills:
- Knowledge – Must have a working knowledge of graphic sign & display production techniques and materials.
- Computer Skills - General knowledge of Macintosh computers, Windows7 or greater, and Microsoft Office 2010 including Word, Excel, & Outlook.
- Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands: No special skills are required; May stand for long periods of time at a work bench; May be asked to perform light physical duties, lift graphic materials, climb ladders and work with chemicals.
