Commercial InsuranceInspector – Independent Contractor Overview EXL Risk Control is aleading provider of risk assessments and loss control surveys to commerciallines insurance carriers. We are seeking candidates who possess excellent communicationskills, computer proficiency, and a commitment to meeting client quality andtimeliness standards. Those with these skills as well as knowledge orexperience in commercial insurance, inspections, or fire and safety assessmentsare encouraged to apply. You will be responsibleto schedule on-site surveys and provide risk control reports to insuranceindustry clients. These reports contain information necessary tounderwrite a commercial insurance policy, and may include recommendations tocontrol and/or correct potential loss producing conditions associated with thatpolicy. You will be expected to manage assignments you accept,successfully secure customer appointments within a local territory and completework assignments on time. Inspectors will workfrom their home or office, and travel to local commercial business operations(i.e.) retail businesses, restaurants, hotels, apartment buildings andcomplexes, construction operations and jobsites, various types ofmanufacturers, churches, schools, etc. You will assess the risk forvarious commercial insurance lines of business that can include Property,General Liability, Workers Compensation, Auto/Fleet, Products Liability, InlandMarine and Builders Risk. Tools or Items You MustProvide:Windows-based PC with an image/document scannerDigital cameraHigh speed internetaccessMeasuring device suchas: laser, 100 ft. tape, or measuring wheelReliable vehicle Auto and GeneralLiability InsurancePreferred ExperienceCommercial Lines Property/CasualtyLoss ControlCommercial LinesProperty/Casualty UnderwritingCommercial LinesProperty/Casualty Claims AdjusterCommercial insuranceinspectionsFire and Life Safetyinvestigations/inspectionsNo Licensed InsuranceAgents/Producers.
