Job Summary:
Loading and unloading of trucks, movement of parts between departments and buildings. Assisting with parts cleaning, grinding, and production work needed to keep parts moving through facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate hoist, forklifts, and parts-moving vehicles safely and correctly daily.
Daily make boxes and pallets, banding of parts.
Production work such as grinding, inspection, and supervised machine work.
Operate grit blaster as needed.
Load and unload oven.
Assembly and disassembly of parts as needed.
Daily clean parts.
Daily move parts between departments.
Daily paint finished parts.
Daily perform additional tasks as instructed.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This position requires the employee to use common sense and safety-first mindset due to lifting and hoisting heavy parts and loads.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Mathematical Skills-Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Prior experience in an industrial setting or use of production equipment is beneficial education.
Prior knowledge of material handling using pallet jacks, forklifts, hoists, or overhead cranes is beneficial.
Independent Action:
Ability to work independently.
