Product Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our team within the Consumer Product organization to lead product marketing initiatives for our Transport (Flights, Car, Cruise) line of business.
In this role, you will help develop insights that will be used to guide product development, cultivate collaborative partnerships across teams, and assist in crafting go-to-market strategies. Through relevant and compelling product positioning and messaging, you will help bring our products and features to life for our customer to drive adoption and growth. You will develop a deep understanding of Expedia's Transport lines of business and use data to develop insights and support recommendations. You will champion customer-centric products with product teams, and communicate the product and vision to counterparts in the Marketing organization. You will be an evangelist-passionate about solving traveler problems, doing right by the customer, and laser focused on growing adoption of our products.
A strong candidate is someone that excels in crafting customer-centric narratives and translating data to impactful insights. Marketing and ecommerce knowledge as well as personal attributes of effective communication, strong collaboration skills, creative problem solving skills, attention to detail, and high accountability are keys to success in this position.
What you'll do:

Help drive an audience-centric marketing approach within the organization and bring together our various product offerings into a unified proposition

Partner with research, customer health, and analytics teams to develop and communicate customer insights

Conduct research to understand competitor and market insights

Champion customer needs across the key teams to influence product roadmaps, business strategies, and customer engagement models

Develop and support go-to-market strategies, product positioning and messaging, product launch materials, and marketing briefs - ensuring fit and cohesion across the customer journey, product lines, and brands

Support go-to-market and readiness activities across the entire organization

Partner with product, marketing and customer service teams to drive adoption and usage of key products and features

Use insights to inform approach to messaging, positioning, and value propositions that can be leveraged by Product and Marketing teams
Who you are:

5 years of experience in product marketing, product, or brand marketing in a B2C organization, with a minimum of 3 years spent in product marketing supporting go-to-market efforts

Experience developing product positioning and messaging

Experience supporting product adoption/usage through well-executed marketing and go-to-market activities

Experience translating customer, market, industry, experience data, and site or app data into actionable insights

Experience working with and influencing cross functional teams, particularly product management and marketing

Experience in consumer facing strategy development a plus

Experience in the travel industry preferred
The total cash range for this position in Austin is $104,000 to $145,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $166,500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $99,000 to $138,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $158,500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $104,000.00 to $145,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $166,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
