Perform cost data analysis and account reconciliation for verification of actual cost in support of accounting records.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Participating in decisions made on business processes and system flows to ensure that all financial considerations are met. Management of the budgeting process. Reviewing monthly budget versus actual expenses for departments, investigate variances, and advise operating managers on status of their departmental spending. Assisting managers with preparation of capital and expense budgets, headcount planning, cost of sales and operating variances. Preparing financial models to assess profitability, breakeven, and cash flow on both current products and potential product candidates. Assisting operating managers with modeling financial impact of potential manufacturing process options. Performing analysis for make/buy decisions, conduct ROI analysis on capital expenditures. Assisting in the development of key manufacturing performance metrics and report on them monthly. Exploring cost savings initiatives by assisting operating managers in identifying and targeting areas for improved efficiencies in the manufacturing cycle. Assisting project leaders with financial analysis of project expenses versus budgets. Assisting project leaders with financial analysis of project expenses versus budgets. Being a financial resource for the development project teams. Participating in any future software upgrades and revisions. Continuous evaluation of the software for enhanced applications of the available functionality. Approving and executing ongoing data changes and maintenance to the system such as item masters, formulas and costing, and assessment of the impact of these changes on Finance/Accounting. Preparing and conducting presentations to management as needed.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Strong knowledge and experience in ERP system implementations in a manufacturing environment a must.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting with a minimum of 1-4 years experience in the operations accounting/financial analyst role. Experience in ERP system implementations in a manufacturing environment a must.
