Job Description
Expeditors is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join its Financial Reporting & Analytics team. The FP&A team administrates the company financial consolidation software in addition to its associated financial business intelligence components. Using these programs, the team is the primary source for global financial data used by key decision makers in the company.
This position will involve the following job duties:
Preparation of high priority recurring financial reports for world-wide senior management, branch operations and other internal stakeholders
Carry out maintenance of existing reports
Administration financial reporting applications including standard development, testing, monitoring and security
Maintenance and development of HFM rules in visual basic
Support international controllers and external financial reporting teams during month end close process
Perform recurring monthly accounting reviews
Produce timely Ad Hoc reports and projects deliverables from general direction as required
This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, accounting information systems, or information technology required.
Two years’ experience administrating Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Financial Consolidation & Close (FCCS) or equivalent
Two years’ experience writing HFM Rules in VBA or equivalent
Excellent computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail, data integrity and accuracy
Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and timelines in a fast-paced environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to adapt and learn new technologies and processes
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Desired Qualifications
Logistic Industry or Expeditors experience
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (INDEX, MATCH, IF, VLOOKUPS, DATE, TEXT functions and VBA)
PowerBI or other BI tool Experience
Python or SQL Programming Language skills
Two to Three years of experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting

Additional Information
Expected base salary: $85,000 to $90,000
