Job Description
We would love you to join us at Experian in helping us to shape the future of employer services for Human Resources compliance and outsourcing. We are seeking a VP of Tax Incentives Consulting, that will be responsible for: (1) providing consultative tax expertise in discussions with key clients, especially at the C-level, around the business benefits of implementing Experian Employer Service offerings, (2) delivery of technology-enabled services to a cross-section of clients, (3) development of new Experian Employer Service tax incentives offerings and strategies, (4) creating efficient processes, (5) recruiting, hiring, training and mentoring teams to execute on service and operational excellence. This position is expected to be a highly contributory leader to help build and execute an aggressive growth strategy across dedicated parts of the business unit.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to convey ideas and information through slides, as well as verbal and written materials is required. The ability to raise issues before they turn into problems is critical. Strong organization, time management, problem solving, and communication skills are essential. What you’ll be doing
This role will require the ability to create and execute the strategy of delivering services in the fast-growing Experian newly organized Employer services bundle of products:
- Work with Experian broader leadership to identify target industries, develop overall sales strategies, and implement marketing campaigns.
- Provide tax technical insight/education to sales associates and, at times, join sales calls to provide technical support.
- Lead and manage a team of tax technical experts to develop and deliver client services.
- Mentor and develop tax professionals to create a culture of excellence with high levels of engagement/satisfaction.
- Provide oversight and as needed, technical / review support for all aspects of the Tax Consulting Services offered and sold to clients.
- Support the Tax Consulting finance function by preparing revenue projections, tracking financial performance, and setting financial goals.
- Participate in weekly management calls to provide an update on both the delivery and financial aspects of the services.
Qualifications
What your background looks like
- Advanced knowledge of employer services offerings: Tax Incentives, Payroll Tax, VOE, UCM, and other consulting services that leverage service and data management excellence.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in tax professional services is required.
- Experience leading a large team.
- Demonstrated ability to assertively drive projects to execution with little supervision while proactively communicating status to key stakeholders.
- Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with clients in all segments with previous consulting or technical assignments is preferred.
- Significant exposure and experience with statutory employer incentives and audit support strategies.
- Ability to consult, present and support sales teams on Experian products and solutions in a consultative manner Occasional travel across North America is possible.
- No set geographic location but close to major Markets for travel to operations or client locations beneficial.
- JD or CPA preferred or equivalent professional experience.
