Summary:
The Scrum Master is responsible to facilitate scrum to the team by ensuring the scrum framework is followed. Individual with help of scrum practices increases team efficiency, motivates the team, removes roadblocks, and manages changes that will ensure quality and timely execution.
Responsibilities:
. Support application development teams with Enterprise Change methodology, processes, tools and deliverables.
. Assist with Agile related routines including scrum facilitation; guiding teams through sprints, sprint retrospectives, point estimations; risk mitigation; impediment removal; impact assessments and achieving milestones.
. Leverage core tools, including SharePoint, JIRA, etc.
. Communicate, influence, and negotiate when needed, to ensure execution activities remain on track.
. Participate in various Agile, governance and status related forums.
. Works closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and designs are translated accurately into working stories.
. Creates forum for communicating vision, goals, and product backlog items to the team
. Understands long-term product planning, while practicing agility.
Qualifications:
. 7 years of Scrum Master experience working in technology based commercial large scale Java/J2EE based web applications/environments.
. Strong relationship, verbal and written communication, teambuilding, and influencing skills
. Agile Scrum experience
. Expertise in Standard Waterfall and Agile (Scrum/Kanban) SDLC
. Analytical experience – ability to interpret requirements into technical solutions, issue resolution, risk mitigation and avoidance
. Skilled experience with Agile lifecycle management tools, including JIRA, Microsoft Office.
. In depth Exposure to application development.
Working knowledge of Enterprise Change Management
. Working knowledge of application security, identity access management, and cryptography.
. Candidate must be a self-starter, motivated, innovative, able to adapt to priority changes and work hours.
. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
. Demonstrated problem solving abilities
. Project management and leadership experience
. Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
