Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
--Monitoring, analyze and troubleshoot the overall scheduling and coordination of the processing of all scheduled applications using Control-M
--Monitor the computer room environment and peripheral hardware in the Data Center. Servers, HVAC Units, PDU, UPS, Tape Library, etc.
--Maintain a detailed understanding and knowledge of the job processing requirements and data flow for all applications systems
--Performing decollating and bursting of all reports and forms as required and coordinates the distribution of all the prepared material
--Work with programmers, systems developers and engineers on problems determination for processing errors and the resolution of them for the production environment
--Monitoring Mainframe system performance and availability and maintaining a working knowledge of system commands and subsystem configurations
(JES2, TSO, MVS/ISPF, CICS, MVS/JCL, VPS, VTAM, SDSF, etc.)
--Maintains inventories of all computer forms, toner, paper, etc.
--Works with end users so that schedules are accurate and run in a timely manner
--Coordinating the scheduled outage maintenance window and providing prompt service with scheduling and resolutions
--Maintain good statistical records and or logs on job and or network down time as well as problem determination
--Point of contact for any emergency service after hour support within the building
--Monitor and understand data center facilities & equipment
Required Experience / Qualifications:
-- Either 1 years of applied IT experience in a datacenter environment or current enrollment in an IT degree program.
-- Outstanding verbal and written communication ability
-- Excellent attitude and professional demeanor
Preferred Experience / Qualifications:
-- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related fields?
