Data Center Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team. Position: Data Center Operations Specialist

Location: Eden Prairie, MN (ONSITE)

Employment Type: Part time. 6-month contract

Pay: $18-20 an hour

As a Data Center Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in securing, operating, monitoring, and maintaining our data center facility. Your responsibilities will include:

• Staffing the main data center security station and enforcing access control measures.


• Conducting routine walkthroughs to ensure facility appearance and functional integrity.


• Responding physically to trouble situations within the facility and conducting troubleshooting as needed.


• Monitoring and recording vital statistics, producing reports, and maintaining accurate incident and change records.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• High school Diploma, GED, or HSED.


• Experience in a technical or customer support role.


• Strong communication skills, especially regarding technical matters.


• Familiarity with data center technologies, systems, and circuits.


• Prior exposure to basic operation or maintenance of HVAC, Power, Fire, and Security building systems in a data center or high technology office setting.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
