Job Description
Position: QA Analyst
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Local (Minneapolis) candidates only - candidate will be required to come into the office 1-2 days/week
Length of Engagement: 3 months with high likelihood of extension after that
Hours/Week: 40 hours
QA Analyst
The candidate will be working on an Agile Scrum team, supporting and testing multiple order entry platforms (ApplyNOW, Affirm, AN4). They will be responsible for developing, executing and maintaining test cases. They need to be adaptable, flexible, and have the ability to get up to speed quickly on several applications. They also need to have strong communication skills and be able to build relationships with the business.
MUST HAVE INSURANCE DOMAIN WORKING EXPERIENCE
THIS POSITION DOES NOT ALLOW FOR 1099 OR C2C
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Participate in Agile ceremonies for projects
- Review and refine User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
- Participate in Design review sessions to gather appropriate information for testing
- Provide inputs to create test plans for assigned projects
- Collaborate with agile team and create test scenarios for assigned projects
- Create and execute test cases
- Run automated scripts, maintaining and developing scripts as available
- Review test cases with Project stakeholders
- Identify risks(if any) during test planning and escalate to QA Lead
- Provide inputs for daily/weekly reports during test execution
- Ensure test execution progress is on track to meet milestones
- Identify risks(if any) during test execution and escalate to QA Lead
- Provide inputs to Test Results document
- Review Test Results document with QA Lead
- Must be a self-starter and driver and communicate project progress, issues, and concerns.
