Position details:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering best in class Payments Programs to support Experity’s $1B payments services business. Working within Experity as well as with our payments’ partners, you will be both an innovator and a problem solver using your listening and collaboration skills to create offerings and strategy to suit the specific needs of each functional area as well as our clients. Reporting to the senior director of Payments, this role requires excellent communication skills, and a strong track record of collaboration. The ideal candidate will have prior payments implementation experience, be a good communicator, a great problem solver, demonstrate the ability to work with cross functional teams and will display a desire to learn and fine tune our processes based on those learnings.

Responsibilities:

Create and manage Payments programs and services within Experity
- Collaborate with partners and internal teams to develop new and innovative programs to service clients’ payments needs
- Evaluate options and present finding to senior leaders for evaluation and sign off
- Coordinate with marketing and operations to develop and deliver go to market launch plans

Plan and actively lead the coordination of portfolio conversion with internal teams and external partners
- Work with Sales and Implementation teams to build the merchant services on-boarding process
- Develop the transition plan for existing accounts as well as the onboarding of new accounts

Develop marketing and sales tools and programs
- Work with marketing to write Payment Products and Services program requirements
- Demo prototypes and new features to customers for feedback and to generate excitement, and cultivate relationships with key clients
- Deliver feedback to senior leaders on the performance and development of payments programs
- Serve as a secondary escalation point for existing customers to answer questions, provide visibility, and resolve any challenges

Drive programs with external facing Experity payments services vendors, working with them to:
- Build working relationship and collaborative partnership to exchange information and best practices across orgs
- Ensure any vendor-related issues encountered in the sale, marketing, product integration or implementation of vendor services are being addressed
- Execute and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance overall effectiveness
- Other duties as assigned
Travel:
- Ability to travel as needed
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five or more years of experience with payments services in e-commerce, retail, software or financial services industries
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the payments services ecosystem
- Experience with large scale payments platforms
- Focus and thoughtfulness on data and analytics to solve problems and experience achieving results through continuous improvement
- Experience in effectively working with multiple teams for collaboration and company-wide project delivery
- Tenacity to keep issues top of mind of relevant stakeholders and conviction to stand-by decisions
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize independently
