Job Description
Exciting HR Generalist opportunity in Portsmouth, NH. Food Manufacturing facility is seeking a long-term temporary Bilingual HR Generalist to join their growing team!
Starting Hourly Rate: $26.45-$28.00/Hr
Schedule: 9:00am-6:00pm (must be flexible with end time)
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruitment of all plant hourly positions. This includes full-time and temporary employees. Handle communication between external Staffing agencies.
- Day to day support of plant employees in terms of providing advice to supervisors on performance, compliance, and benefits.
- Maintains the Human Resource Information System in terms of new hires, terminations, job changes and salary changes.
- Maintains filing system.
- Work with the Human Resource Business Partner to develop employee recognition and social programs to increase employee engagement.
- Plans and conducts new employee orientations.
- Support/Organize Employee Events
- Support the hourly performance assessment process (reviews for 90 day and 1-year milestones)
Skills and Requirements:
- MUST be bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Attention to detail is a MUST
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2-5 years’ experience in HR (Human Resource experience within a manufacturing facility is strongly preferred)
- Ability to work with all levels of management and production.
- Superior interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
- Ability to meet necessary deadlines and have refined time management skills.
