Responsibilities :

• Evaluate student progress.
• Providewritten input on designated student as requested.
• Communicate with parents school Programs staff andnonschool Programs professionals in coordination with classroomstaff and supervisor when requested.
• Assist inrecording and reporting behavior data for assignedstudent.
• Assist in assigned classrooms withindividual small and large group instruction as directed by andcoordinated with the teacher.
• Provideindividualized instruction and supervision for student(s) on andoffcampus in areas assigned by supervisor and teachingstaff.
• Assist teacher in daily organizationalplanning as requested.
• Organize classroomfurniture and equipment.
• Supervise student(s)to ensure safety at all times including bus duty playground dutyand offcampus.
• Supervise classroom in theabsence of teacher when needed or instructed bysupervisor.
• Implement individual and classroombehavior programs as coordinated with other staff.
• Assist in other general areas such as medicationadministration data collection and other relevant tasks as assignedby the teacher.

Qualifications :

• Highschool diploma required.
• Experience in aspecial needs school environment preferred.
