Due to the growth of our client’s business at our client’s site we are pleased to offer this hybrid role based at Crawley.
Responsibilities
- The IVVQ (Integration Validation Verification Qualification) Engineer will perform, but it not limited to the following type of activities:
- Authoring of Test Procedures
- Execution of Testing in accordance with published Test Procedures
- Authoring of Test Reports fully evidencing the report conclusion(s)
- Support of Product Test Acceptance
Qualifications
- Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline. A lower qualification would be acceptable for example HNC/HND should the candidate be able to demonstrate significant demonstrable experience in lieu.
Skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex engineering issues and concepts both verbally and written, with the ability to present and explain technical and complex problems, tailored appropriately for the stakeholder
- Reporting of progress to senior management teams tailoring the message delivery to the audience
- Ability to produce well-structured and written documentation to communicate technical and non-technical information
- Able to take ownership and to work on own initiative and seek out answers, in order to gain a good understanding of system functionality
- Experience of manual testing, smoke test/sanity testing for functional aspects of a system
Experience
- 10 years post graduate relevant work experience
- Defence or Aerospace Gas work experience would suit this role.
- Knowledge of EW systems
- Experience of Engineering Verification and Validation (Systems/HW/SW)
- Experience of Qualification Test campaigns
