Project Manager with specialized skills in Job Classification and Compensation

Trissential is currently seeking a Project Manager with specialized skills in Job Classification and Compensation experience to join our client team in Minneapolis, MN. This is a Hybrid position.

Responsibilities

In this role, the Project Manager will collaborate with SMEs to develop training content.  The ideal candidate will possess HR knowledge specifically in job classification, compensation, and organizational development.  The PM will assist in the content development of job classification and compensation training for the compensation, benefits, labor portions of the client's Leadership Academy.

Key Responsibilities

• Understands the project-related drivers and expected business outcomes for the Job Classification and Compensation project.
• Maps and connects the Gallagher recommendations to the current state of the project, developing recommendations, timeline, implementation planning, and execution schedule. 
• Develops project management plans in collaboration with key stakeholders - specifically Labor Relations and Compensation - to achieve business outcomes.
• Communicates the details of decision points and the supporting analysis behind the recommendations.
• Assists with communications planning, navigating implementation from an employee, systems, and fiscal perspective.
• Supports strategic approach and planning to bargain the compensation re-structure in a phased implementation approach.

Additionally, as the Project Manager, must be skilled in:

• Stakeholder management with complete transparency 
• Facilitating the day-to-day aspects of the project schedule, budget, scope, and quality
• Performing risk management; escalates issues and risks as needed
• Developing regular and timely status reports with hours burndown
• Controlling scope to achieve value within the approved time and cost; recommending timely corrective actions

Qualifications

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in Job Classification & Compensation
• 5 years of PM experience
• Understanding of HR functions, including Organization Development (OD)
• Some experience developing training materials for collaboration with internal resources on content development

Desired Qualifications:

• B.S. or B.A. degree (4 year) (or Associates degree plus an additional 5 years’ experience).
• Experience with WorkOtter
• Bilingual 

Experience

• 10 years experience.

Benefits

Trissential offers a competitive hourly rate for the Project Manager, ranging between $60 to $80 per hour on a full time (40 hours per week) basis.  Full time employees are eligible for a full package of benefits including company sponsored health care, accrued paid time away from work, and 401k with matching.
