Exploration High School invites applications for a dedicated Math Teacher to join our team. In alignment with our commitment to innovative education, this role is critical in facilitating a guided, personalized mathematics learning experience for our students. The ideal candidate will guide students through a math curriculum with a strong focus on destigmatizing mathematics and making it accessible, relevant, and engaging for students. The ideal candidate is someone who isn’t afraid to challenge conventional educational norms in creating a learning environment that adapts to the unique needs of all students.

Responsibilities:

• Build Relationships: Develop strong, trusting relationships with students, serving as both an educator and mentor to support them academically and emotionally.
• Promote Growth Mindset: Encourage students to adopt a growth mindset, fostering resilience and a willingness to embrace challenges as opportunities for learning and development.
• Utilized Technology: Utilize technology and innovative teaching methodologies into the curriculum, with an openness to using AI tools to support students.
• Personalize Learning: Craft and implement individualized learning plans that cater to the diverse needs of students using a variety of resources, including Khan Academy, to ensure a solid understanding of mathematical concepts.
• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with colleagues to integrate math, particularly data and statistics, into interdisciplinary project-based learning units.
• Elective Course Creation: Utilize personal interests and expertise to develop and teach elective courses, contributing to the broad educational landscape of the school.

• Experience teaching in a high school environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in digital tools for education, including Google Suite.
• Experience in using a personalized learning platform such as Khan Academy is preferred

Compensation:
