We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized self-starter to coordinate our summer program’s supply and purchasing system.

EXPLO’s summer programs run this summer from June 30th to August 9th, 2024, with staff orientation beginning on June 22nd.
The Opportunity
Each EXPLO campus runs over 50 classes and dozens of events - we need a lot of materials to pull it off! We have a warehouse full of teaching materials that we bring to our summer campuses each year, where we set up an on-site supply room full of everything we need to keep the program running. The Supply Coordinator manages the massive inventory of all the materials for the program and is responsible for purchasing materials throughout the summer while tracking the budget and reconciling expenses.
Supply Responsibilities
- Organize an accessible and functional supply room where anything can be found easily, keeping track of materials as staff take and return supplies
- Purchase all supplies and materials needed by the Program during the summer
- Keep a detailed and updated inventory that can quickly tell you exactly what materials we have
- Distribute materials to the people who need them
- Handle money, credit cards, and manage store accounts used to purchase supplies
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all purchases and budget balances
Campus Operations Student Life
- Chaperone students on evening and weekend trips off-campus
- Perform operational and programmatic tasks as needed, which may include assisting with event set up, working individually and as a team to complete tasks on campus that are necessary to program function, and performing additional duties, such as coverage for student activities, as they may be assigned to you
About You
You’ve got:
- A knack for organization
- Experience tracking spending or budgeting
- A valid US Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Availability to live and work on campus for the duration of the summer program
Ideally, you’ve also got:
- 2 years of post-high school experience by the summer
- Some experience with kids and/or adolescents
- Experience in supply, inventory or materials management
Compensation Benefits
This is a seven week, seasonal position. Remote training for this role may begin as early as January 2024. In person training begins in mid-June 2024. Compensation for this role starts at $4950 plus room and board.
