Data Management Analyst
Fulltime/Exempt
Location: Corporate Office 127 Town Center Blvd., Clermont FL 34714
Job Summary:
Develop a proactive methodology for effective data management by collecting, analyzing and reporting on disparate data sources. Create, refine, and utilize a variety of data modeling, analytics, and analytical tools to assist in the interpretation of data and execution in the decision-making process. Help design and maintain business intelligence, data analytics, data cleansing, data integrations and migrations using agile process.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Provide thought leadership and participate with projects that involve any of the upstream or downstream data flows and processes.
  • Ensure controls are in place over applications to ensure the data integrity by performing data integrity gap analysis.
  • Coordinate the resolution of data integrity gaps by working with the business owners and IT.
  • Work with business partners to gather and understand functional requirements, develop complex queries and provide reports.
  • Assists in the implementation of an enterprise data governance program
  • Assist in the data management practices implementation (data stewardship, data quality, data integration, master data, metadata management, data security, data architecture, and etc.)
  • Help design and implement business intelligence solutions (including data warehouse, analytical cubes, reports, data integrations, data migrations)
  • Act as a system admin for Power BI, and reporting server
  • Perform DBA tasks such as index tuning, and database optimizations
  • Create ETLs for data cleanup, integrations, and migrations
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years data analysis experience including ETLs, and advanced T-SQL
  • Strong understanding of databases and data structures
  • Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills
  • Some project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate facilitation skills with the ability to drive issues to closure
  • Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision or questions
  • Ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to write various documents such as functional requirements
  • Ability to compare technologies and make recommendations to senior members of the team.
  • Good level proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Knowledge of SSRS (Reports), SSIS (Integrations), Power BI
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
  • Willing to grow with the company, and learn new things as it relates to technologies and IT positions
