We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter/Prepper to join our team. As a Painter/Prepper, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for the painting process, ensuring a smooth and flawless finish. Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles for painting by performing tasks such as sanding, masking, and priming
- Remove dirt, grease, and other contaminants from surfaces to be painted
- Repair minor dents and scratches on vehicle surfaces
- Assist with disassembling and reassembling vehicle parts as needed
- Mix paint colors according to specifications
- Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying
- Buff and polish painted surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish
- Inspect finished work for any imperfections or defects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in auto body repair or vehicle maintenance required
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in the painting process
- Knowledge of paint mixing techniques and color matching
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Experience with WELDING is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
