What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist position at Express Pro - EEP?
A local machining and fabrication shop is needing a CNC machinist
Job Requirements:
- Proficient reading of precision measuring instruments (tape measure, calipers, micrometer, bore gage, telescoping gage w/ micrometer)
- Capable of reading and maintaining .0001 of an inch measurement.
- Full understanding of Drawings and Prints
- Able to set up Lathe/Mill verifying zero and reference points, setting tools registers, offsets.
- 2 years of job shop experience
- Ability to take directions from Department Supervisors.
- Goal orientated able to finish task at hand.
- Calculating skills preferred (basic math, geometry, trigonometry)
Experience:
- Machining: 2 years (Preferred)
- CNC: 2 years (Preferred)
