The Director Investor Relations along with the Vice President Investor Relations drives the development and execution of a thoughtful and responsive IR strategy and investor communication materials that articulate the Company’s vision, goals and messages to the investment community and financial press. This position is a thought partner to the CEO, CFO, President & COO who continually strives to advance the investor story. S/he must develop a deep understanding of the Company’s business model, strategy, and performance in order to ensure clarity and alignment of strategic and financial messaging. A natural inclination towards partnership and collaboration is essential to success in this position.

• Assist the VP in creating a best-in-class investor relations strategy and plan for the Company to attract the optimal mix of analysts and investors in the institutional and retail communities
• Lead development of quarterly Earnings content and materials (script, presentation, press release, Q&A)
• Create and maintain all investor community information and presentation materials
• Collaborate closely with Corporate Communications to ensure consistent messaging on branding, strategy and format
• Manage communications with investment community; develop and nurture trusted, respectful relationships
• Master the Company’s vision, strategy, and narrative in order to effectively convey the message to relevant stakeholders
• Oversee and coordinate investor events, conferences and roadshows
• Review and summarize sell-side research reports and consensus estimates
• Gather analyze, and summarize information on stock ownership, changes in shareholder mix, investor opinions and analyst perceptions
• Create and execute a robust investor targeting program to increase the Company’s institutional shareholder base in a manner consistent with its strategy
• Build competitive intelligence on specialty retail industry and peer set and create/maintain tracking documents and key metrics
• Maintain Investor Relations website to ensure messaging is accurate and current
• Partner with Chief Legal Counsel to develop and execute disclosure policies and practices

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required
• Masters or advanced degree preferred
• 8 years of investor relations experience with a public company and/or investor relations consulting firm; prior Specialty Retail experience highly preferred
