ExpressPoint has a full-time opportunity for an Inventory Control & Quality Assurance Supervisor in our East El Paso facility. This position ensures policies and processes are followed across operational functions, which will ensure inventory integrity and control and customer satisfaction. Also, aligns customer delivery requirements with financial objectives and to support data collection efforts, DOA analysis, defect analysis and customer reporting. The incumbent will also supervise the work activities of inventory control & quality specialists in an ISO-9001 environment. We are willing to train candidates with a strong inventory management background.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for all ExpressPoint and customer inventory cycle counting and reporting
Provide root cause analysis of inventory variances to operations. Recommend and implement process changes to eliminate inventory variances.
Provides leadership to staff in terms of quality analysis tools, customer reporting, functional requirements, and process design.
Assists with creating policies and procedures as needed to meet operational, financial and quality requirements
Researches and resolves inventory problems or issues in a timely manner
Implement, communicate and train functional departments including, but not limited to, receiving, shipping, warehouse, production, procurement/planning, on cycle counting and physical inventories
Performs 2nd cycle count as needed lost or high dollar missing parts
Participates in New Customer implementations
Assists with the recalculating ABC parts
Audit daily inventory transactions as needed
Coordinate the reporting and disposition of excess inventory
Attends meetings and assists in developing process improvements to ensure inventory integrity
Interaction with internal and external auditors as needed.
Detailed understanding of all computer systems and inventory control.
Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
Manages outsource and nonconforming materials.
Requirements
