Director of Operations

Overview:
Join us as the Director of Operations at Exquisite Events: Light & Decor, a prominent event design and rental company managing over 300 events annually. In this pivotal role, you will lead and inspire a team of managers responsible for our warehouse and event installation teams. Your strategic vision will ensure flawless execution of events, maintain excellent relationships with clients, vendors, and venues, and uphold our core values of excellence and reliability. This role demands a proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and consistently seeks ways to innovate and improve our operational processes.

Responsibilities:
· Leadership Excellence: Directly oversee, mentor, and coach department managers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

· Team Development: Cultivate a strong management team, identifying and implementing growth opportunities and professional development.

· Recruitment and Brand Advocacy: Collaborate with the HR Coordinator to attract top talent through strategic outreach, marketing, and community engagement.

· Training and Standards: Develop and maintain a comprehensive training program for all operational staff, ensuring skill and performance assessments are conducted regularly.

· Operational Oversight: Regularly visit event sites to ensure adherence to our high standards and to represent our commitment to quality.

· Motivation and Culture: Champion a positive workplace culture, motivating staff and promoting our core values through your leadership.

· Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership presence with a proven track record of effectively managing diverse teams and communicating complex concepts clearly.

Capabilities:

· Experience: At least 8-10 years in management, overseeing multiple department heads in a dynamic setting.

· Flexibility: Willingness to work non-standard hours, including weekends, in line with event schedules.

Pay:

Salary ranging from $80,000-$100,000 based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
