Data Analytics Intern

The Role: 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Data Analytics summer intern to join our Revenue Operations department and perform data analysis and insights tasks to help achieve our goals. This internship has the possibility to extend into the school year.  

As a Data Analytics Intern, you will collaborate with our Revenue Operations, Sales, Customer Experience and Marketing teams to capture data and transform it into insights. Your contribution will help develop, expand, and maintain our business intelligence function.  

This internship will help you acquire skills and provide you with knowledge of various data analysis strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in Go-to-Market functions and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment. We are looking for someone who can work up to 30 hours/week in the summer and approximately 15 hours/week during the school year.  

What You Will Do:  

• Evaluate and identify trends in the revenue functions by analyzing systems and industry data, from both within and outside the company. Collect and examine data and use the information gathered to create coherent, intelligent reports and insights. In collaboration with the Senior Revenue Operations Analyst, present your insights to your team and to management with recommended actions.  
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards that encompass key metrics to be reviewed with revenue leaders to drive and manage the business.  
• Analyze and report on customer performance and customer experience metrics, recommending actions based on the story the data tells.  
• Closely partner with various departments and leadership across the organization including Sales Leaders, Customer Support, Accounting, Finance, and IT to align and support business insights optimization.  

You Bring/Are:  

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program for Data Science, MIS, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar field.  
• Skilled in advanced Excel functions and Data Visualization 
• Bonus if you are skilled in SQL and/or Business Intelligence software 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

• Must have a passion for data and the power it has to inform business decisions.  
• Outstanding multitasking abilities.  
• Great organization and prioritization skills.
