To strengthen our Talent Acquisition, Development & Learning Department, based in Smyrna, Georgia, we are looking to fill the position of: Learning Partner Medical.
The Medical Learning Partner reports to the Head of US Learning and Development and supports this person in the management of locally specific Medical Learning and Development programs with a clear focus on global standardized processes that fit business needs – including the right to operate locally.
You would like to work in an environment where you can:
- Partner with medical leadership to drive the development, implementation, and delivery of the field MSL training programs from onboarding through all stages of their development, based on their needs and the needs of the organization, in a manner consistent with best practices and applicable laws, regulations, and relevant SOPs, using internal UCB and external resources.
- Work within the cross functional US Immunology team to optimize communications to field MSL teams, including the dissemination of relevant clinical data, provide analyses of the clinical landscape, reactions to recently-released data, and expedite the delivery of medical field insights with analysis and identification of key themes and trends to support the development of the medical activities and in partnership with the therapeutic area.
- Leverage and optimize Learning Experience design and development teams to create content that meets the needs of the Immunology Medical team.
- Act as an ambassador for our global UCB learning strategy.
You will contribute by:
- Continually evaluating and updating training materials to address short and mid-term strategic therapeutic area priorities and field MSL clinical data gaps as identified by the Field Medical Strategists (FMS), instilling a spirit of continuous improvement.
- Managing training calendar and content development in collaboration with Field Medical Strategist and Medical Directors in alignment with defined field MSL needs. Being the trusted learning partner to local internal customers.
- Engaging with resources to enable expertise with all technology-based resources and websites utilized by MSLs.
- Collaborating with Medical Directors and Field Medical Strategist in development of resources to assess field clinical data gaps and co-create solutions to address needs including data generation, publications, and RWE/HEOR/clinical studies.
This position can be remote if individual is open to up to 50% travel.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Advanced Clinical Degree (MSN, MPH, PA, NP) required.
- MSL experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctorate (MD, DO, PharmD, or Ph.D. in Life Sciences or related field) is preferred
- 3+ years’ MSL experience preferred
- 3+ years’ in a learning and development role within biotech, pharmaceutical or life sciences company with a track record of developing, communicating, and disseminating scientific information in an effective manner (timely, accurate, balanced, and easy to understand for multiple audiences)
