We are always seeking great people to join our coaching team at Extreme Texas! We are a young gym with a plethora of talent, and looking for inspiring coaches to take it to the next level.
The right candidates will have knowledge of gymnastics and coaching experience. Experience with USA Gymnastics TOPs, Hopes, Elite programs preferred. Coaches must have a firm, assertive coaching style in a very positive and uplifting manner. Coaches must be active and involved, engaged, organized, and always learning. Coaches must be able to positively motivate the group to greatness and be a leader that everyone looks up to. Coaches should have the highest standards in every area, and care about the kids' development outside the gym as well - school, social, emotional, and family relationships. They must have the capability to coach both the body and the mind, utilizing mental training techniques to achieve great results and confident gymnasts. Our program focuses on training children to become great people on the journey to becoming great athletes.
Candidates without experience may apply for our recreational coaching positions.
The position can be part-time or full-time. Other than coaching, duties may include traveling to competitions, evaluating young athletes for competitive readiness, parent meetings, some team organization and administration, cleaning and sanitizing, talking to customers/parents, helping other coaches and gymnasts with anything they may need.
