Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. Extreme Paint Shop is a recently branched division of Extreme Performance and is located adjacent to the main facility at 3130 SE Slater Street in Stuart FL 34994. Our new state of the art facility is fully air-conditioned and equipped with a USI Italia paint booth, mixing room, & prep station. Contrary to typical collision body shops, our focus is on the aftermarket industry with emphasis in vehicle customization. The right candidate is one with a mindset towards high quality, efficient and properly executed work and is seeking a position for the long haul.
Duties:
- Disassemble exterior & interior vehicle components for refinish or repair
- Reassemble vehicle components following refinish work and confirm proper function
- Prep components for refinish including: sandblasting, bodywork, sanding, blocking, masking, etc.
- Preform required repairs prior to refinish work
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work in a productive and efficient manner
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in automotive repair/refinish; 5 years preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Proficient in automotive repair techniques and required tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and address small imperfections
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
